There would be so much to say about Majorca, one of the most famous and popular Spanish islands... Seaside tourism paradise on one side, sumptuous landscapes on the other, it has been mixing eccentricity and authenticity for decades. To get out of the beaten path, we offer here our 10 favorite beaches, famous or more secret, that you can easily discover with a car rental in Majorca. And you, what are yours?

El Arenal

Lovers of tranquility and authenticity, this place is probably not for you... although, it is not the displacement that misses! El Arenal is another world, lively, teeming, unbridled. Not necessarily the Kingdom of good taste (we prefer to warn you) but it is an essential beach... at least to see

 Cala Millor

Located on the east coast of Majorca, the beach of Cala Millor is one of the most famous on the island. Again, it offers nearly 2 kilometers of fine sand, blue water, beautiful waves, an animated waterfront and sometimes even some dolphins to observe. Come early in the summer to put on a towel

 Es Trenc

At the southeast tip of the island, Es Trenc Beach is arguably the most famous of Mallorca's beaches. It is not in vain. Es Trenc offers more than 2 kilometers of white sand, clear and calm water, a natural environment that the Government of the island intends to preserve (water sports are forbidden), a great offer of cafes, restaurants and hotels nearby... Of course, the beach of Es Trenc is very crowded but it remains good child

Port of Alcudia and Playa de Muro

In the north of Majorca, the beach of Port of Alcudia is love in the beautiful Bay of the same name. The scenery is beautiful with these kilometers of golden sand, the reliefs that are carved in the background, with the proximity of the Marina and the streets of the city. It is regularly quoted to belong to the most beautiful beaches in Europe. And as for its neighbour Playa de Muro, a tad quieter, you have to go far enough to find a little depth: ideal for swimming children.

Canyamel

In a pretty steep setting, the small town of Canyamel offers a rather small limited beach, but quieter than its big sister close enough to Cala Millor. Small seaside resort, Canyamel and its few houses and hotels are a pleasant solution to bathe with family

Port de Pollença

At the northern end of Majorca, far from Palma, bordering the famous and wild cap de Formentor which goes in the sea for several kilometers, Port de Pollença is a seaside resort that offers all the amenities of a seaside town, a nice setting and a Atmosphere still quite relaxing, conducive to swimming with children

Cala de San Vincenc

Some houses, a few restaurants and a few shops... This is Sant Vincenç, nestled on the northern flank of Cape Formentor. The beach of white sand is not very large, certainly, but the clear water, the waves that rub with the rocks, the impressive cliffs of the Formentor not far from there plant a beautiful scenery, both peaceful and tormented

Caló des Moro

It is a very small beach, a little hidden 5 kilometers from Santanyí, just south-east of Mallorca. To get there, you have to walk a little but the show is worth it. Here, there may be a few people but no major tourist facilities: just a small turquoise cove, enclosed between two small cliffs of white rocks and capped with pines

Cala Mondragó

Like Caló des Moro, Cala Mandragó is close to Santanyí. It is roughly the same landscape as its sister: Crystalline Cove and small amphitheatre of white rocks and fragrant trees... except that Cala Mandragó is even less crowded. Isolated, it is located in the heart of a natural space protected by the Government of the island. Notice to Amateurs

Torrent de Pareis

On the West coast of Mallorca, practically uninhabited by the terrain, is the most spectacular bathing site on the island: the Torrent de pareis, not far from its Calobra. The site occupies the bed of a dry torrent during the hot season, but which draws a real canyon before throwing itself into the sea... It is in this impressive environment that one can bathe in a turquoise sea
